You’re staying right on the oceanfront side of North Topsail Beach, where the whole point is to slow down and spend as much time near the water as possible. St. Regis Resort sits directly along the beach, so sandy mornings, ocean swims, shell hunting, and sunset walks can all be part of the everyday routine When you feel like exploring beyond the resort, Topsail Island gives you plenty of classic coastal fun. Head toward Surf City for restaurants, shops, fishing at the pier, and a livelier beach-town scene, or spend the day kayaking, fishing, searching for shark teeth, and exploring the island’s laid-back shoreline. The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and other Topsail Island attractions make easy additions to a family beach trip.

Getting around

Having a car is the easiest way to enjoy North Topsail Beach and the rest of Topsail Island. New River Inlet Road runs along this part of the island, making it simple to head south toward Surf City for dining, shopping, attractions, and more beach activities or inland toward Sneads Ferry for additional everyday essentials. St. Regis itself offers on-site parking, while the beach and resort amenities are easy to enjoy on foot once you arrive. For most days, you can happily leave the car parked while you hit the sand, pool, and resort amenities. For groceries, restaurants, sightseeing, or exploring more of Topsail Island, driving will give you the most flexibility.
