About the neighborhood
Holiday Beech Villas is in the heart of Beech Mountain, where a mountain getaway can mean ski days or sledding in winter and hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and scenic exploring when the weather warms up. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is nearby, and the area gives you easy access to the outdoor fun that makes North Carolina’s High Country such a great year-round destination. When you’re ready to explore beyond the mountain, nearby Banner Elk is an easy addition to the itinerary, while Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, and Blowing Rock make great day trips. Whether you’re here for fresh snow, fall colors, summer trails, or simply a quieter mountain weekend, there’s plenty to fill a few days without feeling rushed.

Getting around
Having a car is the easiest way to explore Beech Mountain and the surrounding High Country. You can drive to the ski resort, trails, recreation areas, restaurants, and nearby mountain towns, then venture farther out toward Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, and Blowing Rock when you’re ready for a day trip. Winter driving deserves a little extra planning. The Town of Beech Mountain strongly recommends 4WD or AWD vehicles from November through March, and snow or ice can make mountain roads more challenging. Check weather and road conditions before heading up, take your time, and arrive ready for mountain driving so you can spend less time worrying about the road and more time enjoying the trip.
