Parking for guests is available on the South Side (if facing house the right side) of the house. Room for a couple vehicles. Snowplows run early mornings in the winter. At times you might be asked to move your car to allow for plows to clear parking area. Location The home offers a great balance of privacy and convenience. Located on a private road, Snowplow Home feels tucked away in the mountains while remaining close to the action. During ski season, the free Schweitzer Shuttle provides convenient transportation to Schweitzer Village, making it easy to get to the slopes without worrying about parking during weekends and holidays. You'll also be close to Powder Hound Pizza for an easy meal, while a short drive down the mountain brings you to Sandpoint, where you'll find restaurants, shops, recreation, and additional entertainment. Important Details High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. The bedrooms are located in the basement, accessed via a small spiral staircase. The loft is accessed by a ladder and may not be suitable for young children or guests with mobility concerns. A gas fireplace supplements the radiant floor heating system. Use the fireplace thermostat to adjust the temperature. The hot springs spa is located outside. Please use caution, as snow may slide from the roof while the spa is in use. Ski racks are located to the right of the front door for convenient gear storage. Your property key is stored in a lockbox. Your access code will be provided for entry. Just down the mountain, Sandpoint offers a charming downtown with locally owned restaurants, breweries, shops, galleries, and access to beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. It's an ideal place to spend an afternoon exploring, dining, or enjoying the lake. During the winter months, road conditions on the mountain can be snowy and icy. A 4WD or AWD vehicle with good winter tires is recommended, and guests should allow additional travel time during winter weather. Selkirk Shuttle Service The Selkirk Shuttle Service provides door-to-door transportation for skiers traveling to the Schweitzer Village, making it a convenient option for guests who prefer not to drive to the resort during the winter season.
