You’re just minutes from the charming village of Watkins Glen, where you’ll find restaurants, lakefront parks, boat tours, and the breathtaking gorge trails at Watkins Glen State Park.
Wine lovers will appreciate being right along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, with dozens of wineries, breweries, and distilleries scattered along the shoreline. The area feels quiet and scenic, but you’re never far from something to explore — whether it’s waterfalls, kayaking, farm markets, or live music at a local vineyard.
There are several rentals right at the head of Seneca lake. There is a kayak launch area which is part of Clute Park at the head of the lake

Car recommended. The property is in a rural area, and having your own vehicle makes exploring easy and convenient.
5–10 minutes to Watkins Glen village and lake access.
Under 10 minutes to Watkins Glen State Park.
Wineries are scattered along the lake — most within a 5–20 minute drive.
About 35–45 minutes to Ithaca for additional dining, shopping, and Cornell University.
Parking is easy and plentiful in the area, and scenic drives along the lake are part of the experience aswell as a trolley (Route414) from Watkins Glen along the wine trail to Hector and stopping near Mason Rd where your retreat is
