This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sleeps up to 8 guests (6 adults comfortably), making it an ideal escape for families or friend groups who want to unplug, unwind, and breathe in fresh mountain air. From the crackling wood fire pit out back to five smart TVs inside, this place balances cozy comfort with modern convenience. The space ★ Wooded, secluded setting with mountain views ★ Wood-burning fire pit in the back yard - perfect for evening gatherings; provide your own firewood ★ Propane grill with working burners and grill cover ★ Gravel driveway thru community - steep and narrow; 4WD or high-clearance vehicle required ★ Parking for up to 3 cars ★ Pet-friendly - bring your four-legged family members along ★ Smoke detectors, CO detector, and fire extinguisher on site ★ Smartlock entry for self check-in ★ 1,224 sq ft of living space across two levels ★ Stairs required to access multiple areas of the home Guest access Check-in is completely self-guided. Your code will be provided before arrival. The host is available if you need anything during your stay, but otherwise gives you complete privacy to enjoy the property. You will find a coffee maker, crockpot, saucepan, stockpot, frying pan, cookie sheet, baking pan, and mixing bowls. Dinnerware, wine glasses, mugs, juice glasses, and a full set of utensils are stocked for every guest. A knife block and essential cooking tools round things out nicely. Technology 5 smart Roku TVs - living room, lower level, bunk room, upper queen room, and upstairs sofa room. WiFi provided through Xfinity. Outdoor Step out the back door and into your own private outdoor retreat. A wood-burning fire pit sits in the back yard - stack a few logs, pull up a chair, and let the evening slow down around you. The propane grill is ready to go with all burners working and a full propane tank on standby. Things to Know ★ Pets are welcome (Max of 2 dogs. There is a pet fee) ★ The driveway through the community is gravel & steep - a 4WD or high-clearance vehicle is required in winter months (Nov - Mar) ★ Road salt and a snow shovel are provided for winter visits ★ Stairs are present throughout the home: 3 stairs to the front door, 5 steps to the back door, and 12 steps between the lower and upper levels of the house - this property may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations ★ No washer or dryer on site ★ No smoking ★ Fire extinguisher located in the kitchen next to the stove ★ Smoke and CO detectors in place for your safety

Located a short drive from Downtown Oakland (10-15 mins) & McHenry (5-10mins), you'll find local restaurants, coffee shops, unique boutiques, and historic architecture that showcase the character of Garrett County. Nature lovers will appreciate being minutes from Deep Creek Lake, Maryland's largest freshwater lake, where you can enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and lakeside dining. During the winter months, nearby Wisp Resort (10 mins) offers skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and year-round mountain activities. The driveway is gravel, steep and narrow - a 4WD or high clearance vehicle is required in winter conditions. The area is known for its scenic mountain views, hiking and biking trails, and easy access to beautiful state parks, including Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing getaway, outdoor recreation, or to explore Western Maryland's natural beauty, this location provides a convenient and welcoming home base.
