This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is built around its garden. Out front, a row of Italian cypress and flowering shrubs screens the house from the street. Step inside and the living room's vaulted ceilings, fireplace, and large picture window open right onto the same green, private yard. Out back, a fully fenced garden with mature cypress and plantings leads through French doors off the dining area to a private deck, a quiet spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. A garden-view office makes remote work easy, and generous on-site and street parking make arrival simple. Central A/C and heating provide year-round comfort. Ideal for couples, small families, or groups who want a quiet home base, with Madison Valley's cafés, bakeries, and restaurants an easy walk away. There are no interior stairs. Please note that there are a few small steps at the entrance and at the backyard deck.

About the neighborhood

One of the pleasures of staying here is being able to experience Seattle beyond the usual tourist areas. The home is close to the cafés and bakeries of Madison Valley, including Belle Epicurean and Arosa Café, as well as neighborhood restaurants and shops. The Washington Park Arboretum is also nearby, offering an easy escape into nature. When you're ready to explore farther, downtown Seattle and the University of Washington are easily accessible from the home. And when the day is over, you can return to a quiet residential street and your own private garden.

Getting around

The neighborhood is very walkable, with nearby shops, cafes, and the Washington Park Arboretum just a short stroll away. For trips further afield, several bus routes (#11, 8, G) run close by, providing convenient access to downtown Seattle, the University of Washington, and surrounding areas. There’s both on-premise parking and ample street parking available.
