About the neighborhood
This home is located on the quiet, up-lake side of Lake Chelan, in a sparsely developed stretch of shoreline bordered by National Forest and State Park land. The area is known for its seclusion, minimal traffic, and natural beauty, making it ideal for guests seeking privacy, calm, and a true wilderness setting.
Unlike the busier south end of the lake, this part of Lake Chelan offers uninterrupted water views, dark night skies, and little to no light pollution. Wildlife sightings are common, and the only regular sounds you’ll hear are the wind, water, and birds overhead.
Just down the road, Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park provides a boat launch, swimming beach, picnic areas, and trail access. The historic South Lake Shore Trail, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1940s, begins nearby and follows the shoreline for scenic walking and hiking.
The Lady of the Lake ferry pickup is close by, making it easy to plan a memorable day trip to Stehekin—home to the famous Stehekin Pastry Company and access to incredible hiking in the North Cascades National Park—or to Holden Village, a unique historic mountain community.
Downtown Chelan is approximately a 30-minute scenic drive, where guests can enjoy restaurants, wineries, grocery stores, and shopping.
