You’ll be staying in a relaxed bay-side community on the western shore of Galveston Bay in north-central Galveston County. Many homes in the neighborhood offer glimpses—or direct views—of the water, pier access, or boat ramps, making fishing, boating and sunsets part of the local rhythm.
A mix of housing types adds to the community’s charm: older bungalows, ranch-style homes, new builds and even some waterfront properties all co-exist here.
The major thoroughfare nearby provides convenient connections to larger hubs, so whether you’re commuting or just heading out for groceries or dinner, you’re well situated.
The neighborhood caters to people who appreciate a slower pace and coastal character, rather than the hustle of big city life. Parks, open green space and bay-front recreation enhance the sense of escape.
On the practical side: because of the coastal location, some properties face higher flood risk than inland areas.
