About the neighborhood

Crescent Beach is one of North Myrtle Beach’s quieter, family-friendly sections, with easy beach access and less of the high-rise crowds. You’re a short drive from Main Street’s restaurants and shag clubs, Barefoot Landing, the Alabama Theatre, Cherry Grove Pier and dozens of championship golf courses. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is about 30 minutes south.

Getting around

The home is in Crescent Beach, a quiet section of North Myrtle Beach just a few blocks from the ocean. Most guests park the car when they arrive and get around another way: Walk or bike: The beach is close enough to walk with a cooler and chairs. Bikes are an easy way to reach nearby restaurants and beach accesses. Golf cart: Golf carts are a favorite way to explore North Myrtle Beach, and the driveway has plenty of room to park one. City rules: Drivers must be licensed, and the cart must have an SC DMV permit sticker. Local rental companies handle this for you. Carts may be driven only from sunrise to sunset. Carts may only use streets with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. Carts may cross main roads such as Highway 17, Ocean Blvd and 27th Ave S, but can’t drive along them. Children 12 and under must wear a seatbelt. Car: Main Street, Barefoot Landing, Cherry Grove Pier and dozens of golf courses are a short drive away. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is about 30 minutes south. Rideshare: Uber and Lyft both operate in the area. They’re a good choice for a night out on Main Street or at Barefoot Landing. Parking At the home: Park for free on-site in the long private driveway and the large concrete pad behind the house, with room for several cars plus a boat trailer or golf cart. Please park only in the driveway and on the pad, not on the grass or the street. Maximum vehicles: [X]. At the beach: North Myrtle Beach has more than 50 public beach-access lots. From March through October, parking is $4 per hour between 9 AM and 5 PM. Pay with the Passport Parking app or at the pay station. Parking is free before 9 AM, after 5 PM, and all day from November through February. Overnight parking at beach accesses is not allowed. Many guests skip the beach lots entirely and walk, bike or take a golf cart instead.
