Getting around
A personal vehicle is the best way to explore the area and enjoy everything North Idaho has to offer. The home is conveniently located just off Interstate 90, making it easy to reach nearby towns and outdoor destinations. Approximate driving times: Kellogg: 12 minutes Wallace: 25 minutes Silver Mountain Resort: 12 minutes Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes access: 15–20 minutes Coeur d'Alene: 40 minutes Spokane International Airport: About 1 hour 15 minutes Parking is available on the property for multiple vehicles, making it easy to bring bikes, kayaks, ATVs, or other outdoor gear. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are very limited in this rural area, so we recommend arriving with your own transportation. During the winter months, roads are generally well maintained, but snow and ice are common. If you're visiting during the snowy season, a vehicle with all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is recommended, and carrying winter tires or traction devices is a good idea depending on weather conditions. The home's central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the Silver Valley, mountain trails, rivers, ski areas, and the many scenic drives that make North Idaho a favorite destination year-round.
