And when you're ready to venture beyond Lincoln City, you're perfectly positioned to explore more of the Central Oregon Coast. Head north toward Roads End and Cascade Head for hiking and dramatic coastal views, or drive south toward Gleneden Beach, Depoe Bay, Newport and beyond for even more beaches, shops, restaurants, lighthouses and coastal adventures. Getting around Lincoln City is easy by car, and this cottage is conveniently located for exploring both the immediate neighborhood and everything the Oregon Coast has to offer. Highway 101 runs through Lincoln City and serves as the main route connecting the different areas of town, from Roads End in the north to the Taft District and Siletz Bay farther south. Most restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, attractions, and beach access points are just a short drive away. The beach is only about four blocks from the cottage, so you can easily walk down when you're ready for some sand and surf. Lincoln City has 28 public beach access points spread throughout the community, so you're never far from another stretch of coastline to explore. If you're venturing farther, Lincoln City makes a great home base for exploring the Central Oregon Coast. Depoe Bay is about 15 minutes north, while Newport is approximately 25–30 minutes south. You can continue south toward Yachats and Florence or north toward Tillamook and Cannon Beach for a day of coastal sightseeing. A car is recommended for exploring these surrounding communities and attractions. You'll find grocery stores and everyday conveniences along Highway 101, including Safeway and 1st Choice Fresh Market, making it easy to stock the cottage for your stay. Lincoln City's major attractions are also spread throughout town, so having a vehicle makes it simple to come and go without worrying about long walks between destinations. Parking at the cottage is available on-site, providing the convenience of being able to park at the home rather than searching for street parking. Please use the designated parking area and be mindful of the compact nature of this cozy beach cottage and its residential setting. For beach days, parking availability varies by access point. Some locations offer ample parking, while others have limited spaces, particularly during busy summer weekends and holidays. For example, the city's SW 51st Street access has ample parking, while SW 35th Street has limited parking. Once you've arrived and settled in, you'll find that this is a great little home base for exploring Lincoln City by car—or simply parking the car and walking down to the beach.
