Winter Tip: When snow or ice hits, you may need all-wheel drive or snow chains. The light at the bottom of the mountain indicates when they’re required. On-Site: You can park and unload at the resort entrance. If parking fills up, overflow parking is available with a shuttle that runs on demand. Nearby: A short drive takes you to Banner Elk for restaurants, shops, and local events. Public transportation is limited, so a car is recommended for getting around the area.
