Getting around
1. Driving Is Your Best Bet Branson is very car-friendly, especially outside downtown. Many major attractions like Silver Dollar City, Branson Landing, and Table Rock Lake are more accessible by car. There’s a color-coded route system in Branson to help navigate busy areas, which makes getting around easier. Traffic can get heavy, especially on Highway 76 around show times. 2. Free Downtown Trolley (“Sparky”) Use Sparky — Branson’s free downtown trolley — to cruise through Historic Downtown, Branson Landing, and other central hotspots. It runs March through December, daily from ~9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Trolley loops take about 20–30 minutes, but you can often hop off between stops to explore downtown. 3. Ride-Share & Taxis Uber and Lyft both operate in Branson, making it easy to book rides to attractions, restaurants, or the airport. Traditional taxi and shuttle services are also available, including Branson Shuttle, Jerry’s Shuttle, and more. 4. For Sightseeing & Tours Consider the Discovery Trolley for a narrated, relaxing tour of downtown sights. For a totally different experience, the Branson Scenic Railway offers a heritage train ride through the Ozark Mountains. 5. Walk & Bike Parts of downtown and the Branson Landing area are very walkable. For more adventurous moments, you can rent bikes or e-bikes and explore nearby trails. Pro Tip for Guests Staying at 18 Fall Creek Trail: Since you’ll likely want to explore both downtown Branson and major tourist attractions, having a car will give you the most flexibility. Use the trolley for fun downtown jaunts, and use ride-share or shuttle services for show nights or big group outings.
