About the neighborhood
Tucked into a peaceful coastal setting west of Highway 1, this private retreat offers the best of both worlds—quiet and seclusion while still being just minutes from downtown Fort Bragg and the beauty of the Mendocino Coast.
The Pacific Ocean is less than half a mile away, and on quiet days you can hear the distant sound of the surf from the property. Spend your mornings exploring nearby beaches and coastal trails, wander the dramatic bluffs at Noyo Headlands, or head into Fort Bragg for local restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, breweries, and shopping.
The area is also an ideal home base for exploring the greater Mendocino Coast. Glass Beach, MacKerricher State Park, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, towering redwood forests, and the village of Mendocino are all within easy driving distance.
Despite being close to so much, the neighborhood feels wonderfully removed from town. Evenings are quiet, the coastal air is crisp, and the slower pace makes it easy to settle in and unwind.
Whether you're here for a romantic weekend, a coastal adventure, or simply a few peaceful days away, this location puts the best of Fort Bragg and the Mendocino Coast within easy reach while giving you a private place to come home to.

Getting around
A personal vehicle is the best way to explore the Mendocino Coast. Within walking distance is a coffee shop, beach and the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. The home offers convenient on-site parking making arrivals and day trips easy.
Downtown Fort Bragg, local restaurants, grocery stores, beaches, coastal trails, and area attractions are all just a short drive away. Highway 1 provides easy access to destinations throughout the coast, including Mendocino, nearby state parks, redwood forests, and scenic overlooks.
Rideshare and taxi services can be limited in this rural coastal area, so we recommend having your own transportation during your stay.
Take your time while driving—the winding coastal roads are part of the experience, and wildlife, fog, and changing weather conditions are common.
