While the surrounding attractions are spread throughout the region, the drives are scenic and part of the Western North Carolina experience. As with any mountain destination, some roads beyond the cottage become winding as you explore the area, and weather conditions can change seasonally. We recommend allowing a little extra travel time when heading into the mountains and checking local weather forecasts during winter months.
