A note from the owners:
Our mission is simple: When you walk into our Sea Ranch house, we want you to feel at home. Not a rental, a home. Our home. We named our home Katiecastle after our lab, Katie. She embodied everything we love about life—always up for an adventure, curious to explore new places (and food!), and was always the first to relax. Most importantly, she loved spending time with friends and family.

Getting around
The Sea Ranch is a scenic, spread-out coastal community best explored by car. Parking is available at the home, and guests also enjoy access to designated parking areas near the community’s trails, beaches, and recreation centers. While the neighborhood is peaceful and easy to navigate, keep in mind that there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. Gualala, just a short drive north, offers groceries, dining, and local services.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are very limited in this remote stretch of the Sonoma Coast. There are no local bus routes, ride-share services, or taxis readily available in the community, so a personal vehicle is strongly recommended. Travelers without a car may find it difficult to get around, though regional buses operated by Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) and Sonoma County Transit run through nearby towns such as Gualala or Point Arena, connecting to larger hubs further inland.
