The Layout This is a cozy unit — the right-hand half of a 1925 Craftsman duplex, split across two levels. The living room, kitchen, and the only bathroom are on the main floor; the bathroom is small. Both sleeping spaces are on the lower level, down a flight of stairs, so nighttime bathroom trips mean going upstairs. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. The second sleeping space is the primary bedroom's converted walk-in closet: a full bed, its own door, no window, and access only through the primary bedroom. It works for a child or a third traveler who doesn't mind sharing a room, not as a second private bedroom. If stairs are a concern, or a bathroom on the same level as the bedroom matters to you, this is not the right unit.
