Getting around

Free parking is available for up to 2 vehicles directly next to the cottage. The driveway has a tight turnaround and slight drop-off, so mid-size SUVs or smaller vehicles are recommended when bringing multiple cars. During winter months, snow and ice are possible in the mountains, and 4WD or vehicles with traction control may be needed depending on weather conditions. Downtown Boone, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway are all within a short drive.
