THE ROLE
We’re looking for a hands-on SDR Manager to lead and scale our Sales Development team. SDRs are the front line of Fairly’s homeowner acquisition engine - they identify high-value vacation rental properties, run outbound prospecting campaigns, and hand off qualified meetings to our Market Managers to close.
You’ll own the team’s performance end-to-end: hiring, onboarding, daily coaching, metric accountability, and cross-functional alignment with Market Managers and Regional Directors. This role is ideal for someone who has been a top-performing SDR or team lead and is ready to step into full ownership of a team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead and develop the SDR team
- Recruit, onboard, and continuously coach a growing team of SDRs.
- Run weekly 1:1s focused on call quality, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Build the bench for the next generation of Market Managers.
Own the team’s metrics and quota attainment
- Track and drive performance across outbound calls, connect rate, meetings scheduled, show rate, and pipeline created.
- Identify performance gaps early and intervene with coaching or process changes before they become trends.
- Deliver weekly and monthly SDR performance summaries to the Head of Sales.
Manage the SDR-to-Market Manager handoff
- Own the quality and accuracy of meeting handoffs to Market Managers and Regional Directors.
- Establish clear qualification standards and feedback loops to continuously improve what “qualified” means in practice.
Build and optimize outbound infrastructure
- Build and maintain sequences, templates, and workflows in the CRM.
- Collaborate on AI-powered prospecting and lead scoring tools to give your team the highest-quality lead lists.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in an SDR or outbound sales role, with at least 1 year in a team lead or management capacity.
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding meeting/pipeline quotas in a high-volume outbound environment.
- Strong coaching instincts — you know how to improve a cold call, sharpen a pitch, and build rep confidence.
- Data-fluent: comfortable living in a CRM, pulling your own reports, and managing by the numbers.
- Experience with Close CRM or a comparable platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach).
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you can sell an idea to your reps just as well as to a homeowner.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — Fairly is growing fast and this role will evolve with it.
BONUS POINTS
- Background in real estate, proptech, or short-term rental / hospitality.
- Comfort using AI tools for prospecting, lead scoring, and personalized outreach at scale.
- Experience building or significantly improving SDR playbooks, call scripts, or onboarding programs.
