At Fairly, we employ a caretaker model, where independent caretakers are responsible for the care of each home, and homeowners are able to choose which caretaker they work with. The caretaker is responsible for guest communications and the care and cleaning of the home, and Fairly’s platform handles everything else. This model - unique to Fairly - drives extremely high owner NPS and customer reviews.
As a Sales Development Representative with Fairly, you are the engine of our sales growth. You will be a phone-based hunter responsible for identifying high-potential vacation rental owners and booking qualified meetings for our field-based Market Managers and our Inside Sales Team.
What You’ll Do:
- High-Volume Prospecting: Execute 60+ outbound calls per day to vacation rental owners in specific high-value territories.
- Pipeline Generation: Your primary metric is "Qualified Meetings Booked." You will qualify homeowners and schedule consultations for Market Managers working in those territories.
- Pitching the Value: You will articulate Fairly’s core differentiators:
- Better Care: Fairly homes are cared for by a dedicated local team empowered with the best technology in the industry.
- Better Reviews: Exceptional care and streamlined communication lead to happy guests and 5-star reviews, stay after stay.
- Better Bookings: 5-star reviews lead to more bookings at higher rates, and happy guests book again.
- Objection Handling: Skillfully navigate objections regarding platform fees, change aversion, and trust, specifically positioning us against our competition.
- Territory Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Market Managers to strategize on target neighborhoods and high-value properties within their regions.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of sales experience (outbound/cold calling preferred) OR a strong desire to break into sales.
- Excellent verbal communication skills (tone, pace, and clarity).
- Ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of leads in a CRM.
- Familiarity with the vacation rental industry (Airbnb/Vrbo) is a bonus.
